Angelic was created by a musician for musicians. It was the vision of Jamiroquai musician and then producer Toby Smith, who after 10 years of writing, recording and touring saw a lack of excellent and inspiring places for artists to create their work. It opened in 2009, to give artists an exclusive and idyllic setting to record in. Over the past 10 years, Toby’s vision has been perfectly realized, a home-from-home for many iconic and award-winning artists. After Toby died in 2017, his wife Gaby, together with Luke Gibbs Angelic’s amazing in-house engineer and studio manager, vowed to keep Toby’s vision alive, its energy and creative vibe.
